Virtual Queues
Disneyland Virtual Queues: What You Need to Know
Disneyland uses a Virtual Queue system to help guests secure a spot for high-demand attractions or shows without physically waiting in line. This allows you to explore other areas of the park while you wait for your turn. Currently, the main Virtual Queue offering is for World of Color, though in the past it’s been used for new rides like Rise of the Resistance, Webslingers, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
To use a Virtual Queue:
Download the Disneyland App and log in or create a Disney account.
Link your park tickets to your account.
Open the Virtual Queues section in the app.
Select your attraction or show and check available time slots.
Reserve your spot when the reservation window opens, entering your group size and confirming.
Timing is important. Set an alarm or reminder to join the queue as soon as the window opens, since spots can fill quickly.
Virtual Queues are optional but useful for popular experiences. If you want a visual guide, search “Disney Virtual Queues” on YouTube or Instagram for step-by-step tutorials.
