Wizarding fans and Potterheads unite! Hogwarts is a lot closer than you think when you visit Hollywood Studios! We love being fully immersed in this land that was only in our imagination as children, and it has now been fully brought to life for you to enjoy.

Attractions:

Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey: This ride begins in the queue which takes you all through the Hogwarts castle! Watch the portraits move, visit Dumbledore in his study, and take a peek at the sorting hat. You will then be whisked off on the ride vehicle as you fly around Hogwarts, through the Forbidden Forest, avoid dangerous creatures, and try to make it safely back to Hogwarts!

This ride is a mix between screens and interactions with real life animatronics. There is a lot of bouncing and moving around, if you are prone to motion sickness this may be one to skip. If you or someone in your party can’t ride, there is a waiting room right where they load the ride vehicles. Plan to take your party member through the queue with you so they can enjoy the inside of the castle, but then leave them in the waiting room with all loose bags and/or children too small to ride.

Flight of the Hippogriff: This is a fun, smooth coaster for even small riders. Kids as small as 39” may still ride. The only thing to keep in mind is even though this little coaster is really fun, it isn’t a very long ride. We would suggest using an express pass or planning on it first thing in the morning, you don’t want to wait very long for this short ride. However, if you have big kids on the Forbidden Journey, this may be a good time to take the little one on something fun while you wait.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Entertainment:

Depending on the time of year, there are different shows in the Wizarding World to keep an eye out for.

The Triwizard Spirit Rally is a fun show where you see your favorite schools from the Triwizard tournament show off their specific skills in entertainment. There are multiple shows a day, and it is standing room only. Guests in ECV’s, wheelchairs, or strollers may remain in them.

The Frog Choir is fun to watch and performs throughout the day as well.

Certain times of year there are also different nighttime shows displayed on the Hogwart’s castle.

For all entertainment, be sure to check the Universal App for showtimes.

Dining:

The Three Broomsticks: Open for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner, this is the place to eat in the Wizarding World. Classic English and American meals will fill you up and give you a break from the standard “park food.”

You can also snag the infamous Butterbeer in 3 forms! Frozen, Cold, or Hot.
