Pixar Fest Returns!

We are so excited about Disneyland Resort’s plan to bring back “Pixar Fest” for the Spring and Summer Season! Pixar Fest was originally held in 2018, but this year’s return brings promises of new characters, new events, and even a brand new parade. This event will run from April 26th-August 4th, 2024, which means it will overlap with the return of Star Wars: Season of the Force as well. You can read more about that event HERE, and if you are hoping to experience both events at the resort, make sure to schedule your visit between April 26th-June 2nd.

Pixar Fest will also mark the return of the beloved fireworks spectacular: “Together Forever!” This show features the amazing “Up House” flying behind the castle, as well as Buzz Lightyear himself! Along with the Up House, we should get an appearance from Luxo the Pixar Lamp, and lots more! At the new daytime parade at DCA, “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration,” you can expect appearances from beloved classic Pixar characters, as well as some new faces from movies like “Turning Red” and “Elemental.” We are also hopeful that they’ll decide to bring back “Paint the Night” to the Disneyland side of the Resort for this summer celebration as well. No word on that yet.

Based on the original 2018 event, here are a few things we can (hopefully, maybe) plan on for the upcoming Pixar Fest:

-Colorful pixar-themed decor throughout Disneyland, DCA, and Downtown Disney.

-Cars dressed up as Buzz Lightyear and Woody at the Cars Land Entrance Photo Op Sign.

-Fun, festive Pixar inspired treats, special character meets, and more.

On our wishlist:

-Kevin the bird from UP (currently featured daily at Animal Kingdom)

-Lots of Pixar Ball/Luxo merch

-A broadway-style rendition of “Put that thing back where it came from or so help me!” at the Hyperion theater. (Okay, maybe not but a girl can dream!)

Stay tuned for more information about Pixar Fest as we receive it! We’ll make sure to update here often.
